Engineering and construction company Clough Limited (ASX:CLO) today announced that the Clough Curtain Joint Venture has received firm work orders worth AU$250 Million associated with the Upstream Infrastructure contract awarded on 1 May 2009.

Australian oil and gas producer, Mosaic Oil NL (ASX: MOS) has received the PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities Ltd (PwC) report on the proposed Scheme of Arrangement (the Scheme) in connection with AGL Energy Limited (AGL) acquisition of Mosaic. PwC has advised the Mosaic Board that it has concluded the Scheme to be in the best interests of Mosaic’s fully and partly paid shareholders on the basis that it is fair and reasonable.

Transit Holdings (ASX: TRH) advises that fieldwork is continuing at the Johnston Range Project where the Company holds over 200km2 of Exploration Licences which contain a 35km long sequence of multiple banded iron formation (BIF) units.
