Eleckra Mines’ assays enhance high grade gold discovery at Central Bore May 25, 2010

Eleckra Mines Limited (ASX: EKM) has announced continued high grade results from Central Bore which support the first batch of assays from its current RC drilling program at its 100% – owned Yamarna Gold Project. The Yamarna Project is located approximately 150km east of Laverton on the eastern edge of the Yilgarn Craton and within the Yamarna Greenstone Belt.
In the current phase of RC drilling at Central Bore, Eleckra has completed eighteen holes for 3,594 metres. Assay results from the second lot of nine RC holes have been received returning exciting elevated gold values of up to 40g/t Au over a one metre interval.
Significant results include:
- 1 metre at 40.27 g/t Au from 188 metres
- 1 metres at 27.93 g/t Au from 125 metres
- 2 metres at 14.01 g/t Au from 178 metres including 1 metre at 17.84 g/t Au
- 3 metres at 6.14 g/t Au from 224 metres
The Central Bore prospect is located only 3.7 kilometres east of the Attila gold deposit at the southern end of the Yamarna gold deposit(s), which have combined Measured, Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resources of 19.8Mt at 1.44 g/t Au for 917,000 ounces of contained gold using a 0.5 g/t cut-off.
