Lithium production one step closer for Reed Resources at Mt Marion March 4, 2010

Australian diversified resources company Reed Resources Ltd (ASX: RDR) announced that a decision to commence production at the Mt Marion Lithium Project is a step closer now that the Company has delivered the final drill results and a development timeline.
The next step in the process towards a decision to mine is to deliver an updated resource estimate in April now that all geotechnical and metallurgical drilling has been completed.
The Mt Marion Joint Venturer Partners expect to mobilise a processing plant and related equipment with a production rate of 17,000 tonnes per month of +6.5% Li2O concentrate in 2010 subject to a decision to mine and obtaining all necessary approvals.
