Perth-based oil and gas explorers Norwest Energy and Empire Oil & Gas have completed an airborne FTG survey over their North Erregulla oil prospect in the northern Perth Basin about 40km inland from Dongara.

Norwest Energy (ASX: NWE) advises its airborne Full Tensor gravity Gradiometry imaging (FTG) survey over the TP/15 permit (NWE – 100%) in the Northern Perth Basin has been completed. The contractor, Bellgeospace, is expected to process the survey and deliver a report within the next 30 days.

Hillgrove Resources Limited (ASX: HGO) announced that recent fieldwork has confirmed the presence of additional high grade gold and silver mineralisation on the Sumba license (Kuasa Pertambangan, “KP”) (Hillgrove 80%). The project is highly prospective for epithermal and porphyry style mineralisation and covers identified zones of gold mineralisation.

According to Northern Mining (ASX: NMI), rotary air blast (RAB) and reverse circulation (RC) drilling programmes are planned to commence at the Blair North Prospect mid September. The Blair North Prospect (E25/268, East Kalgoorlie Project, WA) has Northern Mining Ltd earning 51%, Balagundi Gold Pty Ltd earning 24%, Cazaly Resources Ltd holding 25%.
