Specialty minerals exploration and development company Wolf Minerals Limited (ASX:WLF) announced today a major resource upgrade at its flagship Hemerdon Tungsten Project in Devon, in the UK.
The resource has been upgraded to 97.4Mt @ 0.22% tungsten trioxide (WO3) and 0.023% tin (Sn), an increase of 20%.
In addition, the grade has been increased 2%, and the majority of the resource is now classified in the “Indicated” category.
The resource upgrade was the result of the company’s recently completed 2008 drilling program, and updates the initial tungsten and tin JORC resource announced in March. Wolf will now work to produce a JORC reserve in the near future.
Wolf continues to make strong progress on developing the Hemerdon Project into a long term, large scale, low cost tungsten and tin mining operation.
